The intended use for the Accu-Chek Lancet is; obtaining capillary blood from fingertips, or if the patient is a child under 1 year of age, drawing blood from the heel. The entire device is single use only, so once it has been used, just discard the whole thing and move on to your next task. Safe-T Pro Plus Lancets are sterile for 4 years.
