Product Details
3M™ Cavilon™ No Sting Barrier Film creates a transparent, breathable barrier between the skin and the adhesive of the securement dressing device or tape. Instead of skin cell layers, the film is removed when the dressing is changed. 3M™ Cavilon™ No Sting Barrier Film 3344E, is a 1.0 mL foam wipe.

3M™ Cavilon™ No Sting Barrier Film is an alcohol-free liquid barrier film made of terpolymers that protects intact or damaged skin from bodily fluids, adhesive trauma, friction, and incontinence. It dries quickly, is non-sticky, and leaves a breathable, transparent coating on the skin. Even when applied to damaged or denuded skin, the film is hypoallergenic, non-cytotoxic, and does not sting.

Suggested Applications
  • Ideal for protecting intact or damaged skin from body fluids, adhesives, and friction, such as incontinence skin care, peristomal skin care, periwound skin care, peritube skin care, adhesive trauma protection (including negative pressure wound therapy), or adhesive trauma protection at IV sites.
