To our loyal Quick Splint users
As of October 15, 2007
our supplier of raw aluminum ceased operations in Canada. Following an exhaustive search for a replacement supplier, none were found that could match the material we previously used.
Allied Medical Instruments has now entered into an arrangement with SAM MEDICAL , the manufacturers of the SAM Splint. SAM MEDICAL will now be producing all of our splints.
We will be using the SAM 1109F Charcoal flat folded splint as a direct replacement for the AMI-QSY product. This splint is identical in manufacture to the orange SAM Splint, but uses charcoal grey foam instead. The SAM 1109F will be offered at the same price as the AMI-QSY. If you are a special high volume contract user, your price will remain the same.
The regular SAM Splints will be priced as follows:
Please use the new part numbers when ordering your splints from now on to avoid any confusion through the transition. Unless otherwise requested, we will supply the charcoal coloured SAM 1109F
in place of all AMI-QSY splint orders.
